Community Cockpit for Skool (Chrome extension). Last updated 12 October 2026.
What the extension reads
The extension only runs on skool.com. When you open the side panel in a community and press “Sync members”, it reads, through the Skool session you are already logged in with:
- the community's name, description and totals (members, online, posts, courses, admins);
- for each member: name, Skool handle, role, level, points, join date, last-active date, bio, location, profile picture address and, where Skool shows it to you as an admin, email address.
It never asks for or sees your Skool password, and it does not send messages, post or change anything on Skool. It does not read any other website.
What is stored in your browser
The synced member list and the private notes you write are stored in the extension's local storage in your Chrome profile. They stay there until you sync again, clear the extension's data or remove the extension.
Optional cloud sync
Cloud sync is off until you create an account in the extension. When it is on, we store:
- your account email address and a password hash, used only to sign you in;
- the community's Skool id, address, name and member and post totals;
- for each member: Skool user id, handle, first and last name, role, level, points, join date and last-active date;
- your private notes.
Member email addresses, bios, locations and profile pictures are not uploaded; they stay in your browser.
This data is hosted for us by Supabase, on servers in the European Union (Ireland). Access rules in the database let each account read only its own rows.

If you write to us through the form at skool-app.com/contact, we receive the email address and the message you enter. We use them only to answer you. The message is delivered to our inbox by our email provider, Resend, and is not added to any mailing list.
How the data is used
Only to provide the extension's single purpose: showing you who is new, active or quiet in your community, and keeping your notes. Specifically:
- we do not sell it or share it with third parties, other than the hosting provider above;
- we do not use it for advertising, profiling or to determine creditworthiness;
- the extension contains no analytics or tracking;
- nobody on our side reads your data, unless you ask us for help, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
The use of information received by the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data
- Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything stored in your browser.
- Signing out in the extension stops any further upload.
- To delete your cloud account and everything stored with it, write to us and we will remove it.
